Alabanga Week 16

WELCOME TO THUNDER DOME!!! LOL! One more game. One more game to determine the 2018 Lost Tribe of Alabanga champion...

In the Red corner...we've got Mike Shaughnessy. "The new guy", "The Rook", I've been calling this guy Rocky since about week 8. Sitting in the 10 spot more weeks than not, he's scratched and clawed his way into the finals. He's one game away from doing what none other in the 15 year history of this league has ever done. Bring home the TOM in their first year. Mike's team has some bumps and bruises but should have the horses to make a legitimate run this week. Can he pull off the impossible?

In the Blue corner... we've got Allen Martin. Allen has multiple Alabanga championships. He's been here a time or two. BUT...Just as his opponent, his team has bumps and bruises. And I think that is why I think this game will be just like every other game in the LTA playoffs this season. Can Allen become 3 time, 3 time, 3 time champ?

If either team wins by more than 5-10 points I will be shocked. Of course I'm sticking with my pick. If you've been reading these every week you know I've had Allen winning this thing most of the season. That doesn't mean I dont think Mike can win... In fact, of every playoff team in 2018, Mike has the best chance. Beating Scott the way he did in rd 1, coming from behind such a huge deficit. Then taking down Goliath (MaHomes) in rd 2. He's beaten the odds every time. But now he faces the ultimate test.

This title game WILL be epic. The season has been epic. I hope you all have had as much fun as I've had in Alabanga 2018. I look forward to seeing ALL of you in August at the draft as we prepare for an epic 2019! This is you favorite commish signing off...#beattravis
