On to ROUND TWO

The first round went as expected with the Soldiers taking down the Warriors and VATKA getting the win over Allen's Regulatorz. Congratulations to Travis and Sam for getting those dubs and moving on to ROUND TWO.

ROUND TWO brings us the #1 seed Bubble Guts2 (Flip) against the #5 seed Soldiers (Travis). Now before I go on any further I want to express that the seedings in this years playoffs I FEEL are absolutely irreverent. Not that seedings really matter to begin with but in this playoff it matters even less. I felt going in that any of these 6 playoff teams had a chance on any given week to advance. Parity is the word that I will use to forever describe the 2016 L.T.A. playoff. So with that said lets talk about my thoughts on Guts vs Soldiers, Going in you can understand how the Guts earned that #1 seed with that team Flip has put together, And with Travis possibly losing Gordon this week Flip HAS to think he has the high ground. And I would agree. I think Flip has a shot at stopping this winning streak the Soldiers are on. The Soldiers are currently on a 4 game winning streak and have not lost since week 10 vs the Regulatorz. Since week 10 the Soldiers have blasted opponents scoring 174, 154,179, and 143 points which has been more than enough to get the job done. Flip and the Guts are also on a streak of their own, like the Soldiers, the Guts haven't lost since week 10 at the hands of #2 seed Insano. But I look at the numbers the Guts have put up in that time and this is where I've drawn the line. The Guts have nowhere NEAR the numbers the Soldiers have during the last 4 weeks. Excluding week 12, where the Guts put up 173 points against Bert's Lumberjacks, The Guts may have trouble with the Soldiers in ROUND TWO. And that is why I'm taking the Soldiers over the Guts here in what I think will be a high scoring shoot out.

Our other game brings up the #1 seed Captain Insano (JD) against #6 seed VATKA (Sam). My feelings on this same are short and sweet. Insano will win this game by a mile. VATKA may have a few scoring surprises but there will be NO upset here, I assure you. Jd gets a slightly easy win and moves on to the 2016 finals.
