2016 Tribe of Alabanga Championship

The second round is now behind us but I'd like to congratulate the 4 that were there. Flip and Sam had good seasons and deserved to be there. Both games were hard fought and now I'm ready to talk about the game of all games, the 2016 Lost Tribe Championship hosting the #6 seed Mobile Bay Soldiers and the #2 seed Captain Insano. Both of these teams are former champions and know what it takes to get this win. So lets go...

The Soldiers finished the regular season 7-6 and went on a tear in the last quarter of the season good for the #5 seed going into the playoffs. The Soldiers last loss came in week 10 to Allen's Regulatorz. Since then the Soldiers have run through this league like a tornado including knocking the #4 seed Warriors out of the playoffs in Round 1 then sending the #1 seed Bubble Guts home in Round 2 last week. The Soldiers have earned the right to be here and on paper look to be favored going in. Core players; Bell, McCoy, Ajayi, Gordon, and Palmer.

Captain Insano has been near the top of the rankings all season long and finishing with a 9-4 record good for the #2 seed going into the playoffs. Insano's last loss was week 13 to none other than his championship opponent The Mobile Bay Soldiers. The top seed is definitely the underdog going in to this game after being swept by the Soldiers in weeks 4 and 13. Insano has the horses to beat the Soldiers but can they do it? We'll find out soon enough. Core players; D.Murray, Ware. Evans, Gurley/T.Hill, Winston/Luck.

Now on to my prediction. I have to take Travis. The Soldiers have not lost in well over a month and with the plethora of RB's on this roster I can not see him losing. J.D will fight and leave everything on the field but I called this 2 weeks ago and I'm sticking to my pick. Travis wins the 2016 Lost Tribe championship. Book it.
