Today I'm all about WR's. Below are my top 5 fantasy receivers and just like my RB's yesterday, I'll shed some light on my reasons for my numbers. Lets go.
Wide Receivers
Antonio Brown Pittsburgh Steelers

On top of just about everyone's rankings and even mocks, Antonio Brown is #1. This guy is undoubtedly the best WR in the game today when it comes to fantasy numbers. My #2 is a close second so Mr.Brown better keep doing what he's doing. But as of right now Mr. Brown is the top dog of them all. Brown was not on either of my championship teams last year but he was on both of the teams I faced in the finals and yes, I was watching Antonio Brown. He's proven he can beat coverage in many ways. And even when Big Ben went down it wasn't horrible. Of Course he did not put up ungodly numbers like he did with Roethlisberger under center but he was still a huge factor in fantasy football. As long as Ben and Antonio stay healthy I look for this duo to explode once again.
Julio Jones Atlanta Falcons
Read these numbers out loud. No, seriously...do it. 136 receptions. Targeted 204 times. 1,871 yards receiving. Yeah, and that is with Matt Ryan at QB. Which I'm not fond of at all. He's average at best. Close your eyes and think about with this guy could do with an elite QB. Julio Jones is simply amazing and he's only getting better every year. He's 27 years old going in to the season. He's got another decade of getting corners fired in this league. And I want to mention this before I move on from Julio. The only reason Julio is behind Brown in my rankings is because of the QB. Ben is light-years better than Ryan. I think Julio is the better receiver. Antonio just has the better QB. And in fantasy football that is a HUGE factor. Juliooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! (Roll Tide!).
Deandre Hopkins Houston Texans

Most people are putting Beckham Jr here or even higher but I disagree. Hopkins is in my opinion the superior WR. Hopkins had over 1,500 yards last year on 111 receptions with a bunch of shaky QB's. Beckham's numbers do not match Hopkins' numbers and he had the better QB. Hopkins gets a legit QB this season. Yeah, its yet to be seen what Osweiler is going to do but I believe this is a good fit. I like the Texans this year. Miller was also in my top 5 RB's. Watch out for the Texans this year! (Scoring cool points with Flip this week.) Hopkins was part of my fantasy dominance last season. I hope to land him again but I doubt I can get him at this point being that I have the #4 pick in two of my three up coming drafts.
Odell Beckham Jr New York Giants
Now that I've downed Beckham I'll stash him here at 4. No, I think he's a top fantasy receiver. I just don't think hes better than the guys I have above. I've watched him go in mock drafts as far up as #1 and that just baffles me. Again, he's going to put up great numbers through out the season. But at the end of the season I assure you (pending injury) those other guys are going to top him. Solid at 4. He's Ol' Dirty Beckham. Go draft him in the late 1st round/early 2nd.
Jordy Nelson Green Bay Packers

He's currently sitting the sidelines during the preseason but I assure you that's just Green Bay protecting their best receiver. Last year the Packers were terrible without him. They want to keep Rodgers favorite target healthy for the regular season and after last year who can blame them. Jordy will come back this year and take the "Come back player of the year award." Eddie Lacy coming back in shape and looking great only makes Nelson's job even easier. Once Lacy breaks a few, Nelson is dancing in the end zone. Packers are back this year folks. And Jordy will be a huge reason why.
So there you have my top 5 WR's. You guys please hit me up on twitter or Facebook and tell me your top 5 and don't forget to SHARE and LIKE our page. I'll be back tomorrow to talk about QB's. Over the weekend I'll go over my thoughts on why I still favor taking RB's over WR's in the 1st round. God Bless and have a happy Friday!
Your favorite commish,
-Scott
