In this blog I'll go over my top QB's and like the others shed some light on my reasons. Unlike my last two blogs I wont be numbering because this is a top tier list. I'll even do an honorable mention on a few more. With that said... Lets get it!
Quarterbacks
Cam Newton Carolina Panthers

Cam Newton is (to steal a quote from my favorite wrestler) the MOST electrifying QB in the game today. His stats last year were unreal and he did it without his #1 WR Kelvin Benjamin. Cam played all 16 games last year throwing for 3,837 yards, 35 touchdowns, and only 10 INT's. His 2015 campaign was simply unbelievable. Can he actually top those numbers in 2016? I'm good taking him early (Not 1st round early), believing he can at least match those numbers. And I think he can. A lot of people I've spoke to feel differently and feel he can no way do that again this year. I feel here like I mentioned in my Adrian Peterson segment in my RB blog on Thursday. Until he falls, I'm a believer. As a University of Alabama die hard football fan, I've been watching this guy play at an outstanding level for 6 going on 7 years. Most Alabama fans STILL hate him. I for one do not. I think he's one hell of a QB and I'd take him on my team over anyone else at this point. Which is why he sits here at the top of this blog. All I want for Christmas is a Cam Newton jersey!
Aaron Rodgers Green Bay Packers
Rodgers gives you everything you can ask for from a franchise QB. So many times I've watched him put the team on his back and win games with seconds left on the clock. He's clutch as clutch gets. Last year Green Bay had a down year (without the QB's two favorite targets in Nelson and a few games without Cobb), and they STILL finished 10-6 losing to the Arizona Cardinals in the 2nd round of the playoffs in what was one of the best games I watched all season. Eddie Lacy is back and looks fantastic. Nelson and Cobb are both a go but Nelson is sitting out preseason, which I believe is just the Packers keeping Rodgers favorite toy at full strength for the season opener September 11th in Jacksonville. Rodgers will be taken in some fantasy drafts before Newton (Allen Martin). And to some that may sound reasonable. I think you all should seek medical attention ASAP. I love Rodgers as the #2 QB off the board. And honestly that should be no earlier than the 3rd or 4th round. After my drafts are over I'll have a blog specifically for the guys that jumped on Rodgers early. Stay tuned! (Allen Martin)
Russell Wilson Seattle Seahawks

Wilson is a lot like Rodgers in my opinion. Only difference being since Wilson took the starting job in his rookie season in 2012 he's always had Marshawn Lynch and/or a really good running game to lean on. This year Lynch is gone. Doug Baldwin and Tyler Lockett will have no choice but to step up this season. I think Baldwin has a great year. In fact, If I had done a top 10 WR in my WR blog on Friday, he would have been there. Wilson's 2016 season will be the best statistical year of his career. Thomas Rawls is the primary RB going into the season and he's serviceable but he's no Lynch. Wilson will be airing it out. Which means whoever lands him on their fantasy teams will be sitting happily knowing they have one of the best in the game.
Andrew Luck Indianapolis Colts
Look, Luck and the Colts had a terrible year last year. Unfortunately for the Colts you cant get that back. But the Colts had some work to do in the off-season at O-Line and they got that done. Most importantly at the center position. Ryan Kelly (Alabama) was a fantastic draft pick. He will be a huge reason Luck will be back to being the Andrew Luck we all knew. Luck is also loaded with WR's. This receiver tandem in T.Y. Hilton, Donte Moncrief, and Phillip Dorsett is one of, if not the best in the league. He has all the weapons he needs to be elite. He gets back to the playoffs this season and don't be surprised if Luck is holding the Lombardi trophy come February. Now lets not get crazy. I'm not picking the Colts to win the Superbowl in August. I'm just saying it's reasonable to believe they have a legit shot. The defense is really they only thing holding them back. I look forward to seeing where Luck falls in fantasy drafts this year. Maybe I can get him for a reasonable price? Just kidding. The next QB is my QB. No offense Andrew.
Tom Brady New England Patriots

Yeah, that's right folks. Brady made my top QB's. He's only the greatest QB in the history of this league. So hated the NFL sent the lynch-mob (Media/world) after him for deflating footballs. Please... The Brady hate is stronger than ever. Brady laughs at you haters. He wins. And he has won with hardly any solid RB's, mediocre WR's outside of Randy Moss, and patch work on O-line his entire career. His only constant has been Rob Gronkowski (TE). You people that continue to trash Brady baffle me. He will be suspended for first four games of the season. But when he returns week 5 in Cleveland he will unleash his wrath and have Rodger Goodell pouting once again. Brady doesn't have much time left in this league and he knows it. He wants another title before he goes. And he just watched his arch rival Peyton Manning ride off into the sunset with the title in hand. Brady owned Manning so many times. Don't think for a minute he's not thinking about that. He wants it. And I want him on my team when he gets it because his fantasy numbers will sky rocket more than they usually are and lets not kid ourselves, his numbers are always high. Here's a message to everyone in my fantasy drafts...I'M DRAFTING TOM BRADY!
Honorable mentions;
Ben Roethlisberger Pittsburgh Steelers
Carson Palmer Arizona Cardinals
Drew Brees New Orleans Saints
Well there you have my top tier QB's. Make sure you hit me up on Facebook at The Red Zone Faction or on Twitter @therealfaction and give me your top QB's. And give me your opinion of mine. I'll be back tomorrow with my thoughts on taking WR's over RB's and the do's and dont's of the 1st round. God bless and have a sensational weekend!
