The Faction; Week 3

Week 3 is upon us here on Wednesday. I hope you've all checked waivers and prepared yourselves for your match ups. We currently have

three 2-0 teams, Killers, Pham, and VATKA. Four teams at 1-1, Dirty, All-Stars, Silverbacks, and the Bellringers. Three teams are still looking for their first win at 0-2, Knights, Kennamer, and Dispenser. You 0-2 guys don't lose your minds and cause destruction just yet. It's still early. And the guys at 2-0 should remember that as well. Its' only two games in. Anything can happen. Bye weeks start week 4. That's where we'll separate the men from the children in this league. I will have my eyes on these rookies to see how they handle bye weeks and injuries from this point. Use the waiver wire! As the season progresses you will get more comfortable. And for the rooks, I'm here if you need me. Just not the week we're head to head. So lets talk about where we are.

Week 2 brought a few good match ups. I thought the VATKA/Bellringers would be the game of the week being that they both have really solid teams. VATKA did as expected. Bellringers seemed to struggle. But I know Bert well enough to know he'll get his team fixed and be in the playoffs causing havoc. Starting off slow and finishing strong is his forte. And he's good at it. I've been playing FFB with Sam for a very long time and know he's a player. Both of these guys will be in the mix come December. VATKA got the win and will see Dirty this week. These two have a history and know each other very well having played in my leagues for over a decade. I like Dirty's chances here but I have to take VATKA. Dirty has a few question marks I think gives VATKA the edge. VATKA in a tight game.

Dirty got the win over Dispenser in week two in what was a close game. At least until Monday night. Dispenser has gotten off to a slow start and that won't change this week as he takes on the league #2 scorer Pham. This should be an easy win for Team Pham as his match ups look pretty good and frankly, Dispenser just doesn't have the horses to keep up. Pham over Dispenser in a blow out.

Team Pham had a solid victory last week against the Silverbacks. Silverbacks had a few guys just not produce as Team Pham has been on a roll lately getting production from the majority of his players. This was a good match up on paper. At the end of the day it boils down to the Silverbacks just not getting it done. And it does't look any easier for the Backs this week as they take on the #1 scorer Dream Killers. Though I do believe it will be closer than I want it to be, the Killers will get it done this week. To close for comfort. Killers in a nail biter.

The Dream Killers met Team Kennamer in week 2. This turned out to be the biggest blow out of the week. Kennamer isn't a bad team but they certainly have some work to do if they plan on making a run for a title. They have a few horses but those horses have simply not produced numbers. This could be a team that turns around quickly but I still feel Kennamer needs help. He may get some this week as he takes on the Purple knights. The Knights also seem to be struggling and along with Kennamer, still looking for that first win. I'll be watching this game this week. I think the Knights have a few injuries and lack at depth here. I'm taking Team Kennamer to get their first win in a close one.

The Knights met the All-Stars in week three which turned out to be the game of the week. This game went into Monday night and was only an 8 point difference. Both went in 0-1 and both came in with guns blazing. Congrats to All-Stars for pulling out a tight victory. The All-Stars travel to Birdville this week to take on the Bellringers. As I said before, I'm high on the Bellringers but the All-Stars will be hard to beat. I'm calling this the game of the week because these two are so evenly matched it's hard to pick a winner. But if I have to take one I'll take the All-Stars. C.J Anderson may be too much for Bellringers to handle. Very tight game here.

So that's my thoughts and prediction on the Faction for week 3. I look forward to seeing how things shake out these next few weeks. Wins will start to become crucial and harder to come by for most. Thanks for stopping by. Please give me a "share" and "like" on Facebook!
