Week 14: State of the Faction

Before I begin I want to send a huge congratulations to those of you who made the playoffs. It has been a long ride yet it went by so quickly. For the four that did not make the playoffs, keep your chin up and be ready to bring it next year. And FYI; There is a consolation bracket for you to play the next week or two as well. We have a few Week 11 match ups for you in Round 1 that I look forward to talking about, Lets go over them now...

The first game brings us two guys that know each other extremely well. The #6 SilverBacks take on #3 Bellringers. These two met in Week 11 with the Ringers getting the dub 161.3 - 133.5. Things were a little different that week as the Backs had Gordon on a bye. But on that same note the Ringers now have Rawls on their roster. I love both of these games in round one but this one has that UFC/MMA touch to it. Whoever loses this game will go down swinging. Because I have to pick a winner I'm taking the Ringers. But only because he's on a hot streak as of late and I don't see it ending any time soon. The Ringers could see their way to the finals.

The second game has that underdog feel to it. Team Pham @ Dez. I really have enjoyed watching both of these two teams all season. After speaking to both of these guys neither one seems to feel they have a shot going forward but they're both going all in. These two also met back in Week 11 with Team Pham getting the win 121.8 - 102. Team Pham managed to get this dub with their #1 QB and #1 RB BOTH on byes. And for that reason I think Team Pham gets the win here. I would not at all be surprised if Dez were to pull out a win but I think Pham gets the upset and moves on to Round 2.
